1. Introduction

IPTV Maple (hereinafter "we", "our", "the Service") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998 and European Directive 2001/29/EC on copyright, we have adopted and implemented a policy for handling copyright infringement claims.

This page explains our DMCA policy and describes the procedure to follow if you believe your copyrighted content has been used without authorization on our platform.

2. Our Commitment

IPTV Maple is committed to:

  • Respecting all intellectual property rights.
  • Responding promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.
  • Removing or disabling access to disputed content upon receipt of a compliant notice.
  • Terminating accounts of repeat infringers.
  • Cooperating with copyright owners to protect their works.

3. Copyright Infringement Notice

3.1 How to File a DMCA Complaint

If you are a copyright owner (or an authorized legal representative) and you believe content available through our Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our designated DMCA Agent.

3.2 Required Information in the Notice

To be valid, your DMCA notice must include ALL of the following:

  • Electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed. If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list.
  • Identification of the infringing content to be removed or disabled, with enough detail for us to locate it, including where possible:
  • Exact URL(s) of the content.
  • Name of the channel or program.
  • Broadcast timestamp.
  • Any other relevant information.
  • Your full contact details:
  • Full name (individual or company).
  • Full postal address.
  • Phone number.
  • Valid email address.
  • Good-faith statement: "I have a good-faith belief that use of the material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  • Accuracy statement: "I declare, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner."

3.3 Where to Send Your DMCA Notice

DMCA notices must be sent to our designated DMCA Agent:

DMCA Agent

Email: [email protected]
Email subject: "DMCA Takedown Notice"
Postal address: [Full address to be completed]

Important: Incomplete notices or notices that do not meet the requirements above may not be processed.

4. Processing Procedure

4.1 Processing Timeline

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we commit to:

  • Acknowledgment of receipt: within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Investigation: detailed review of the claim.
  • Action: removal or disabling of content within 3 to 5 business days if the claim is deemed valid.
  • Notification: informing the concerned user (if applicable).

4.2 Actions Taken

If we determine that a notice is valid, we may:

  • Remove the disputed content from our platform.
  • Disable access to the disputed content.
  • Warn the responsible user (if applicable).
  • Suspend or terminate the account in case of repeated violations.

5. Counter-Notice (DMCA Counter-Notice)

5.1 Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe removed or disabled content is not infringing, or that you have authorization from the copyright owner to publish and use it, you may send a written counter-notice to our DMCA Agent.

5.2 Required Information in the Counter-Notice

Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your electronic or physical signature.
  • Identification of removed content and its location before removal.
  • Statement under penalty of perjury: "I state, in good faith, that the content was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification of the content to be removed or disabled."
  • Your full contact details:
  • Full name.
  • Postal address.
  • Phone number.
  • Email address.
  • Consent to jurisdiction statement: "I consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which my address is located (or the court of Paris if I am outside the United States), and I will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notice or an agent of that person."

5.3 Counter-Notice Handling

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice:

  • We will forward a copy to the original complainant.
  • We will inform the complainant that content may be restored within 10 to 14 business days.
  • We will restore the content within that timeframe unless the complainant initiates legal action and informs us.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

6.1 Zero-Tolerance Principle

In accordance with the DMCA, IPTV Maple applies a strict policy toward users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
